Owen Fire response - 6:00 p.m., July 7, 2014 – The American Red Cross has opened a shelter for evacuated residents at the Harmony School, 20 Lewis Road in Laramie. Local Red Cross Volunteers are also in the process of opening a shelter at the Centennial School, 2771 Highway 130 in Centennial. The Owen Fire is now at 50 acres and growing. Evacuations have been ordered for Lake Owen Campground & Day-Use Area, as well as the north end of Fox Creek Road.
