Owning your voice and standing up for what you believe in is worth more than having a good job and health insurance. Trust me, I know, I had to turn down many lucrative jobs and opportunities over the years because the contract said, Like Ariel, The Little Mermaid, you must give up your voice to have the prince and the castle. My manager and loved ones thought I was crazy to turn down such rare offerings, but the chains attached were too heavy, and money and attention does not bring me happiness. No castle, corporate job or media gig is worth being a mute trophy or prisoner for! Id rather be a free-spirited butterfly than to ever be owned and controlled by the establishment. I have faith that if I follow my heart and stay true to my convictions that God will protect me and that I will achieve my own security and dreams on my own terms. It may take a whole lot longer, but at least my life will be mine. Freedom: Priceless
