PACS gets back on the winning track with a 55-6 win. PRINCE AVENUE CHRISTIAN 55, GLASCOCK COUNTY 6: At Gibson, the Wolverines — ranked No. 4 in Class A — improved to 3-1 by running up 390 yards of offense (355 of that total in the first half) and holding the Panthers to 90 yards of offense. Prince Avenue’s defense accounted for three first-half scores as Jonah Doster returned a fumble 30 yards for a touchdown, Zantravious Shields returned a fumble 24 yards for a touchdown and Christian Payne blocked a punt and recovered it in the Glascock County end zone. Kevon Hudson rushed 31 yards for a touchdown and Shields scored on a 9-yard rush. Quarterback Tyson Herron threw a 41-yard touchdown pass to Ross Crowell and a 68-yard scoring strike to Hudson. Herron also scored on a quarterback sneak. Prince Avenue will open Region 8-A play at 7:30 p.m. Friday, hosting Athens Christian.
