PAINMASTER For a few weeks now I’ve had a terrible, crippling, pain in my lower back. A few nights ago it was so excruciating, I was virtually writhing in bed with it. I’ve had an X’ray done of my lower spine; it found nothing of significance. Now I’m waiting to see an urologist, on suspicion that it might be kidney stones (or my prostate - God forbid!) or something… Meanwhile, in desperation for relief, I went and purchased, on an impulse, a little electronic gadget off the shelf at the chemist, called ‘Painmaster’ (for $49.90). It’s like a tens machine, delivering little (unnoticeable) electrical impulses to the painful area to counter the pain signals, but light, easy to wear, and, best of all, VERY effective! I can’t belief the amount of relief that it’s been providing! It’s made in Connecticut, USA and is fairly new technology, so the chemist has asked me to provide feedback after use. I’ll be happy to provide positive feedback, and not just to the chemist: if you or someone you know is struggling with acute localized pain, I’d definitely say give it a go!
