PAKISTAN Bilal Sheikh was like a son to me: President Zardari ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has described the killing of his chief security officer, Bilal Sheikh as one of the most grief filled days of his life. The president added that Sheikh was not only a trusted companion but was like a son to him. He said that Sheikh had rendered numerous sacrifices for the Pakistan Peoples Party and was with former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto when the truck she was travelling in upon her return to Pakistan was attacked on Karsaz Road in Karachi. The president appealed to PPP workers to protest peacefully as the party had called for a day of mourning to be observed across Sindh on Thursday.
