PARADOX OF LIFE “In the day of prosperity be joyful, but - TopicsExpress

PARADOX OF LIFE “In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other.” (Ecclesiastes 7:14) A paradox is a statement that is seemingly contradictory or opposed to common sense and yet is perhaps true. There are some things in life that we take for granted. We never noticed these things because we never stop to pause and think about them. Can you imagine how life will look like if all the hours in the day are sunshine or total darkness? God made both light and darkness and He has so arranged our experiences in life that we must pass through both light and darkness before the expiration of each day. Today your gait can be clear and tomorrow the paths become drear and beclouded. Today you may climb to Pisgah’s top, and view the Promised Land afar off beaming with high hopes and tomorrow land in the valley of despondency. Today you may be strong in faith, tomorrow your faith waivers. Sorrow may endure in the night but joy cometh in the morning. Is this part of God’s plan with me? Can this be the way in which God would bring me to heaven? It is even so. Yes, these things are part of God’s grand designs. Challenge: All experiences in this life prepares a believer for eternity with Christ. Prayer: Lord, let me see your hand in my life.((Amem)) gudmrn all, and av a blessed week.
