PART 1: FAME: Some people need some much fame by putting others DOWN: - Respect to man that thinks some are their pin-up women, lol. Some want all the FAME: That is what fame is, isnt it? To get the world to fall in love with you. It does seem true that a lot of people will do anything, however humiliating, for fame. Fame is what you have taken, character is what you give; when to this truth you waken then you begin to live. Some only seek to gain dominions and riches in order that their fame might be ever-lasting. Be humble. Fame is man-given. Be grateful. Conceit is self-given. Talent is God given. How many emperors and how many princes have lived and died and no record of them remains. Be careful. Wealth is like sea-water; the more we drink, the thirstier we become; and the same is true of fame. Fame doesnt fulfill you. It warms you a bit, but that warmth is temporary. Fame is like a shaved pig with a greased tail, and it is only after it has slipped through the hands of some thousands, that some fellow, by mere chance, holds on to it! I think I understand what military fame is; to be killed on the field of battle and have your name misspelled in the newspapers. Mickey Mouse... is always there-always part of someones life. That really is something not everyone can call their claim to fame. Fame has sent a number of celebrities off the deep end, and in the case of Michael Jackson, to the kiddy pool. In 1993 my birthday present was a star on Hollywoods Walk of Fame. If you wanna be famous, then its okay if the music is fake, because fame isnt real. People in the Hall of Fame tend to clap their hands and say, OK, Ive done it all, but for me, it was a new beginning. Fame is just a disgusting by-product of what some do. Fame should be left to the film stars and Fame attracts lunatics, Fame also doesnt end loneliness. Dont cling to fame because youre just borrowing it. Its like money. Youre going to die, and somebody else is going to get it. You can take Elvis. You can take Marilyn Monroe. Success and fame will not be the answer if something inside of you is bothering you, if things in your mind arent going right. Wisdom alone is true ambitions aim, wisdom the source of virtue, and of fame, obtained with labour, for mankind employed, and then, when most you share it, best enjoyed. Fame and success and titles stay with you, but they wear out eventually. In the end, all that you are left with is your character. The highest form of vanity is love of fame. Some often say fame is kind of like a drug or like sugar: when its controlling you it doesnt feel good at all. The sooner some get into the Hall of Fame the better. Fame is a mind - a way of thinking about things. Its all in your mind. Some find fame to be quite unnatural. Humans are not built for extreme adoration. Some have Internet fame. Real fame is more intense. Fame is a hollow ground, isnt it? Its an empty kind of thing. Somes think that their fame is due to broadcast television. Fame, you know, its like a handgun - in the wrong hands, its dangerous. Fame wont make you feel any better about yourself.
