PARTY PLACES and some SCENES that could BE A WARNING TO PARENTS WHOSE TEENS GO INTO THESE PLACES I have observed that in most partly places in Iligan particularly in Palao, there are lots of teens who come in these establishments. Apart from some under 18 teens who can come in, which is supposed to be not allowed but since the clamor of the business sector disallows curfewing teens because this could affect their businesses, a sad thing to note, everything seems normal as far as partying is concerned in this city. However, there was this disturbing scene that I saw at one moment there. There were 2 girls, a fat girl and a not so chubby girl, plus a guy who went out from one of the clubs there. Of course, when they got out, they have been drunk. But one of the girls almost passed out but can still walk on her two feet. Observing the three, the girl who was with the guy were fondling at the curb side of the Quezon Ave. extension. This is normal to these teens as far as the place is concerned because there seems to be an open mind regarding this, as well as I, who was there seeing them at a distance. The disturbing part was when they walked and reached at the front of Shoppe 24, I saw that the girl who was fondling with the guy previously was being dragged to an AUV, which was not present at the party place where they got out. The AUV somewhat looking like a Mitsubishi L300 FB, but this vehicle is a white KIA Panorama model with a black tint. The guy wants to bring her inside of this van which had 2-3 guys at the back minus the driver. It seemed to me that the girl doesnt want to go in while the fat girl also tried to bring her in the vehicle. In my sense observing these teenagers, it seemed to me that this girl is never really in a relationship with the guy because if indeed they are in a relationship, she would have got in but instead she opted to alight a parked habal habal across The Strip. But the guy still insists in getting her to the waiting AUV while the fat girl also tried to push her lightly. What was disturbing was that the girl was ALREADY INTOXICATED and seems to be not with herself. Now, I didnt really get into the situation because I was only at a distance. WHAT I did, was because I was on motorcycle, i tried to PURPOSELY LOOK INTO THE PLATE NUMBER of the vehicle trying to get nearer SO THAT the guys inside and the driver WILL NOTICE that we are watching them on what was happening. The happening looks like a funny scene but there seems to be an impending danger on it. What happened next was that the driver, previously in talk with the guy fondling with the girl, came again from inside of the drivers seat, whispered into the ears of the guy and then they sped off with their vehicle from the scene leaving the fat girl and the intoxicated girl on the road. From that moment, I realized that the GUY WAS NEVER REALLY HER BOYFRIEND of sort but someone she could have just met at the club. Is it normal that a guy leaves her girlfriend behind? I dont know if I am right but TO ME, THAT SCENE, is almost pre-requisite to a DATE RAPE. IF that girl went into that vehicle, she could be raped by those numerous guys inside because she is powerless being intoxicated. Her fat friend during the time they were pushing her to the vehicle was BENT ON LEAVING HER TOO by pursuing those habal habal drivers while her friend fought against the guy TO NOT WANTING TO COME IN THE VEHICLE. Good thing that girl, despite her intoxication, SHE MANAGED TO STAND BY HERSELF TO NOT GET IN THE VEHICLE. I remember that there are dimly lit parts of Palao, not to mention the C3 road which is almost a deserted place where these kids drink to the wee hours of the morning. The vehicle was facing that direction and when those guys left the girls, they went towards the direction of GTLMH.
