Randy is in a rehab hospital on the Lutheran Hospital campus. Randy is doing so well that he has become a cheerleader of sorts for those who are not doing as well. It is with tears in my eyes that I share this. Last evening, I watched Randy work at getting the other guys to talk about life other than where they are at present. I watched him breathe life and hope into some pretty depressed souls last night as they gathered to eat in the common cafeteria room. Randy is turning what could have been depressing for him into a witness for what God can do through him, even in this situation. And this is one more reason I love him and I am so very thankful that God spared him. He comes home TUESDAY! (See, I told you!) But he has left a quiet impression on many nurses and patients. Simply Jesus working in our lives. Daily. Hourly. Thank you for praying! Your prayers have gone beyond healing to help and hope for others. May God be praised and glorified in the witness of his servant.
