PAWS Chicago Alumni Update! Grenada is a 4-year-old Shih Tzu who came to PAWS after her owner dumped her at the city pound. She was matted, dirty, and showed serious signs of neglect. She was also extremely frightened of new people and situations. She recently found a loving, patient, kind forever home where she can feel comfortable and blossom into a confident dog. We named her Gabriela, Gabby for short, formerly known as Granada at PAWS. She is such a sweet and lovable little girl. She has adjusted to her new surroundings very well. She loves to hang out outside with us on the deck and in the yard. We think she is happy here. She is such a great little snuggle bunny. She likes going for rides in the car, but still is not a fan of walking on a leash. Maybe in time she will come to like it. If not its no big deal. We are taking things slow, and that is what she needs. She needs a lot of love and patience. We love her the way she is. Thank you for giving us the chance to give her a loving home. We will keep in touch and let you know how we are doing. I have attached a few pictures of Gabby in her new Forever home.
