PAWS Rescue along with the Twin Falls police Dept assisted this weekend with a hoarding situation. One of our rescuers was alerted to this situation and acted quickly. There were four schnauzers taken out of this home. There is also one cat that we are still trying to catch. These poor babies were in a basement in crates with minimal food or water for several weeks. Their living conditions were deplorable. They were living in their own urine and feces in a cold, dark, wet basement with no human contact. Their physical emotional and medical conditions are beyond belief. One of the little schnauzers named Doodle bug was too far gone and crossed the rainbow bridge warm and in loving hands. Honey, Opie and Twiggy were quickly checked by a vet and rushed to Mystic Paws Grooming for much needed bath and shave. These three are currently in wonderful foster homes where they are learning to eat, socialize and trust again. They will be going to the vet for much needed evaluations, spay/neuter, vaccinations, dental cleanings and extractions. We are hoping you can help. Each furkid will need a sponsor for their vetting. We are estimating their vetting to be $320 each. Any amount you can help with will be greatly appreciated to help these babies get the medical help they need to live out the rest of their lives in peace and health. Thank you Dave, Barb, Rachel, Phil, Twin Falls PD, Sawtooth and Green Acres Veterinarians for your willingness and love in helping with this horrible situation. Here is the link to help! Donations can also be made directly for Green Acres in Twin 208-734-2711 under the account Paws Rescue for the Schnauzers. https://facebook/burleyshelter/app_190322544333196
