PAY ATTENTION to this folks. These banks could bankrupt our entire nation and life in America as we know it. The law to which this piece refers is Dodd-Frank, and it was passed and signed into law in 2010, while Democrats had control of the House and the Senate. If we allow the Republicans to win a majority in the Senate and maintain a majority in the House in our elections this November, they may very well try to get rid of this important piece of legislation. The banks are kicking and shouting because this law forces them to work within the lines to prevent another meltdown like the one that severely harmed our economy under the Bush-Cheney administration in 2008. While weve made great progress, we still have not totally recovered from what Bush-Cheney did to us and our economy. Ninety-five of the new wealth created since Obama became president, has been made by the top 95% of our richest citizens. Our middle class is still hurting because of what the Republicans did to us. Be informed - vote accordingly.
