PAYROLL TRAINING On September 29th, Donna Joseph, Office Manager of Argos St. Maarten completed an 8 hour one day Intensive on Basic Payroll Administration, in which the sole purpose was to give and understand the working knowledge of Sint Maarten’s payroll procedures and calculations, by CHAI CONCIERGE , instructor Mrs. Amanda Bedminister. The outline of the training consisted on various topics which involved both theatrical and practical work. Donna reflects on the training: “The overall training was indeed very much insightful and informative, from this training, I am now able to better understand basic payroll administration, in knowing how to calculate certain social security contributions, and benefits for the employees and provide my superiors and colleagues with more factual explanations, where payroll administration is concern. In the near the future I hope this service will no longer have to be outsourced and rather done internally.”
