PDATE: Motorcyclist dead in head-on crash on 101 north - traffic still blocked Staff writer (BY JEREMY PAWLOSKI) 07/03/2013 4:37 PM Northbound lanes of State Route 101 were completely blocked near the Wallace Kneeland Boulevard exit at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday after a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a car, according to the Washington State Patrol. WSP Trooper Russ Winger said the motorcyclist, a woman in her early 20s, is dead. The driver of the vehicle in the collision, also a woman in her early 20s, was transported to Mason General Hospital, and her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Winger said that the road could be blocked until as late as 6 p.m. He added that the WSP has rerouted 101 traffic to detours.
