PDP supporters beat up crew of Tinubu owned TVC for alleged biased reporting PDP supporters descended on two journalists working for Bola Tinubu owned Television Continental, TVC, for allegedly promoting false propaganda against the PDP candidate. The PDP supporters also accused the TVC reporters of acting as spies for the APC. The journalists, Ayodeji Moradeyo (reporter) and Binafia Miebi (cameraman) are crew of the TVC from Lagos attacked and beaten up while performing their duties. The crew officially accredited for coverage of the Saturday governorship election had visited the state secretariat of the PDP to make inquiries on certain issues when they were allegedly attacked, battered and later detained. They were subsequently released on the intervention of some security operatives and leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ.
