PDRRMC launches National Disaster Consciousness Month Dinagat Islands – The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Council (PDRRMC) headed by PDRRMO Rosario B. Roxas, Jra., together with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Dinagat Islands Search and Rescue (DISAR) Members, conducted a National Disaster Consciousness Month Kick-Off Ceremony at San Jose Municipal Gymnasium today, July 3, with the theme: “Kahandaan at Kaligtasan ng Pamayanan, Pundasyon ng Kaunlaran”. The program aims to provide community-awareness regarding disasters and its preventions. It was attended by the provincial, municipal, and barangay officials; national line agencies; private and business sectors; non-government organizations; and students from JBEIHS, DREESMNHS, and DJEMFCST. The spectators witnessed several advocacies and simulation exercises during the program.
