PEANUT UPDATE: Took him to the vet today who gave him a pretty good clean bill of health. Regarding the epilepsy - since I havent witnessed any seizures so far, we are going to wait on putting him on any meds. He will only need to be put on meds if he has more than two seizures a month OR if he has a bad seizure lasting more than one minute. He is a little overweight, but that can be worked on over time. The vet said he is a sweet guy who is very adoptable. He seems to be a little less anxious now and has even allowed me to guide him in and out of the car, vets office and house now; where before he would just panic - try to run or just lay down. The vet said with trust and training he should get better. So for now, there is no fundraising needed. Someone has offered to come work with him this Sunday and possibly groom him a little which I think will increase his chances to be adopted. I still need to find him a forever home or a more permanent foster situation for him ASAP. One person has come forward and said they might be able to take him, so I am waiting to hear back from them to see if it is possible. If you know anyone who might want this dog or is able to foster him, please let me know! I would like to say a special thanks to Cedar Plaza Veterinary Clinic in Mountlake Terrace. This is the second animal in need I have had that they have so graciously donated their time and expertise on. Cheryl Maves Amanda Brown
