PREDISPOSI FACTOR: 1)Emotional and psychogenic factor. 2)Drug induce factor 3)genetic factor 4)trauma and serious ilnes 5)endocrine secretion 6)inflamatn conditn 7)bile reflux, etc. Signs and symptoms: localised pain either at d back(esp duodenal ulce)or epigastric region b4 or afta meal due to ingestn, and may disapear even witout treatment and may reocure. Its describ as burnining. 2)vomiting 3.weight loss 4. Heartburn 5. Feeling of distension in d epigastric region(upper regiƶ of ur stomach) complicatns of peptic acid: 1)pyloric Obstructn 2. Haemorrhage 3. Perforatn. Anaemia may set in. Diagnostic Indices: Gastrointestinal endoscopy 2.gastric analysis is commonly done to analyse gastric secretn 3. Stool examinatn for occult blood etc.
