Somehow to ease up your anxieties and worries ... =========================== Update: we left nov 13 almost 11am, took the Basey route meaning we saw the entire eastern samars situation (7-hr drive due to road condition)... one of the worst is that of Municipality of Hernani... the town is almost totally washed out, portions of the over laid road asphalt were plucked out & flipped over almost creating another road... many just made tents out of the small tarps... Cemetery is destroyed coffins opened too... i hope they get supply of relief goods & also the neighboring towns which were never featured in the news... Upon arrival in Guiuan, we knew right away its not the same of Tacloban in terms of casualties... the towns structures are heavily damaged... as far as downtown is concerned, death toll as they say is maybe around a hundred & mostly coz they were hit by falling debris, etc... The entire eastern samar has no electricity and phone signals even in the City of Borongan... If you have families in Guiuan, i can almost assure they are safe esp those living in the mainland.. Coming back, we had a rather smooth drive via Basey & actually arrived in just 5 hours... For my family, i believe its time they leave for good. When my youngest sister asked, how many days will we be there in Catb?.I said, not days, not weeks but years.. then the eldest of the three was crying and said,This is what God already told me about, that is, to move back to Catbalogan.. Well i believe its time! All is well! Rescue operations continue.. Gods super abounding grace & supernatural strength is always available! Amen!
