PET question: My vet has told me I need a travel certificate for - TopicsExpress

PET question: My vet has told me I need a travel certificate for my pets. That they have to have an exam within 10 days prior to departure, the certificate is only good for ten days and I have to have a destination address. My search has shown you need these certs for plane, train, or traveling outside of your Country. How on earth would full timers do this??? We are simply traveling from Cali to Las Vegas, thru Utah to Colorado Springs and home. I need answers from those with experience in this matter. The vets office staff is telling me if we DO get searched and do not have certificates they will impound our animals and make us wait until a vet can come to the border and certify them at great expense??????? Sounds unreal to me…HELP MY RT TRAVELERS!!!!!!!
