PETE FYFE - Since the start of the year I have been trying to check on the condition of Pete who wrote so many excellent folk music reviews for my UK Folk Music website and many many more. Pete has very ill since he was diagnosed with cancer just before Christmas 2012 and he also fell and broke a leg which proved difficult to heal. I phoned him when he was still in hospital and he was typically optimistic and asking how I was... I have attempted texting, phoning and emailing over the last few months and was never able to get an answer. I have just found out by searching the web that his funeral was on Monday 4th August 2014.
