PETITION FOR CONTEMTUOUS ACT ----------------------------------------- THE RESPONDENT FRANCIS MENSAH ANANE IN THIS CASE. With the greatest respect am filling this case under the law of this court for counsel who tryed to incompatibilitised the presiding judge seating on a case between PHOBIA COURT VRS ROLLAND counsel has made issues to disclamed the dexterity of the presiding judge in the case which i found it as unfortunate and scrounge to the bar, havent said that counsel has witty mused the judge. Counsel claimed the presiding judge has given a wrong verdict and for that matter, he alluded the presiding judge in to ignominy and as a friend of this court and also member to the legal bar... I found his speech as loss talk, inferior, worthless; scorn,disdain, and he needed to be brought to book. I therefore petition him to explain his actions and inactions by making those vulgar words to the presiding judge. The most worried aspects is counsel was deciding who should seat on his case which is very unethical to the law. I wish to or remind this honerable court, if u can recall a land mark case ( election petition) in the supreme court between Akuffo Addo, mahamudu Bawumia and Obetsebi Lamptey ( petitioners which the chief justice nominated JSC Williams Atuguba to preside the case for hearing, where counsel Philip Addison vehemently opposed to the presiding judge n try to decide who should sat in the case...... Philip Addison pre was taking out of prejudice and the said presiding judge sat in that case..... So i see no reason why counsel Francis Mensah Anane will opposed n quest who should seat on his case. I mean is legally empty to his quest and i therefor asked this court to hear my pre and charged him for contempt. I pray my request will be held and counsel must face the law on disrepecting the presiding judge and the bench as a whole.... Ref the petition filled against Barrister Francis Mensah Anane , the Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee here by summon the defendant ( Francis Mensah Anane ) to appear before the committee on Wednesday 15/10/2014 @20:00GMT.
