PF Gov of Rep of Zambia Admin/Executive Southern Province Minister Daniel Munkombwe said that I want to say what i must say today, i want to tell you what you dont know. When we were forming UPND , we had to look for a person who would be the president of the party, we first approached Levy Mwanawasa and he declined and advised us to see Mazoka, when we went to Mazoka he said he needed 9 months to think about it. We then went to see HH who expressed interest and said he had wanted to join politics, HH then gave us K 30,000,000 old currency that was a lot of money,( 1998) HH bought the first UPND vehicle which we used for mobilization and later on Mazoka accepted and HH agreed that Mazoka becomes president. Now i want to say that HH has been in upnd from the begining.... My brains cells have opened up now, i realize what is good for Zambia, I therefore officially endorse the candidature of HH... next 4 days i will not sleep in my house i will go flat out to tell people who they should vote for. I have never been relegated to a back seat of a political party and if any party tries to do so to me they are doing it at their own risk. Am always in the driver’s seat. Lungu tried to sideline me, but later own realized and sent people to talk to me but it was too late. My brains cells have opened up now, i realize what is good for Zambia, I therefore officially endorse the candidature of HH.
