PHATA POSTER NIKLA HERO GOT 4 STAR SUPER HIT..... Shahid has truly made a strong come back and the efforts that he has put in can be seen. He has pulled of a series of emotions with complete ease right from serious to dramatic to comic. Illeana seems to be comfortable in her role and has done a decent job. Padmini Kolhapure as the over melodramatic mother within her space tries really hard to stay true to her character but its the faulty character-sketch that makes her act appear annoying. Writer director Raj Kumar Santoshi seems to be suffering from ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahaani’ syndrome and has borrowed several elements from it. Phata Poster is too cartoonish and has innumerous songs. Even the fonts used in the poster of both the movies are similar. The two highlights of the film are Salman Khan’s cameo and Shahid Kapoor’s sequence when he has to showcase his acting skills by playing a baddie. Phata Poster Nikhla Hero in short has funny elements throughout without any dull moments and is a family entertainer worth watching! Though it won’t break any records as such but will definitely be a hit at the Box Office.
