PHIL EMBASSY IN BEIRUT ATTENDS TOP MODEL SEARCH, ANNOUNCES EMBASSY EVENTS 13 May 2014 – The Philippine Embassy in Lebanon attended last April 13 the 3rd Edition Search for Sally’s Shop Top Model for Men and Women, which was organized by Mrs. Rosalina Guiling, owner of a beauty shop in Beirut and founder of the Sally’s Shop Top Model Foundation. Thirteen Filipino candidates participated in the search held at the Babel Theatre in Beirut, with the assistance of their respective Filipino and Lebanese supporters. Philippine Ambassador to Lebanon Leah M. Basinang-Ruiz delivered a brief message to congratulate the organizers and the candidates for their active participation, and also to announce the resumption of overseas voters registration as well as the Embassy-initiated activities to celebrate the 116th anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence. During the competition, the candidates paraded in ‘80s attire, sports-, spring- and evening- wear. Ms. Chamie Martin won the title as female top model, with Ms. Bernadeth Lebradilla and Ms. Jelynda Jesus as first and second runners up, respectively. Oninz Cullibar was ranked top male model, followed by Anthoine Ocampo and Lio AJ Paras. END
