PLAYING AT BEING, BY FIERAS DE VERSALLES, THE EXHIBITION YOU SHOULD NOT MISS!! La casarosa gallery presents, from 22th of November until 28th December, Fieras de Versalles (Beasts of Versalles) collective –Paloma Peñarrubia, Estefanía Muñoz and Carolina Arán “Betty Bundy”- with their first creation together, Playing at being. Playing at being is not a usual exhibition. The group of emergent artists from Málaga proposes a game with a beginning and an end that invites the spectator to take on, in a free and voluntary way, the role of coordinator of their own experience. The show comprises 13 pieces that work in the same space, like a “playing field” where, like an analogue video-game, the structure is hidden. It flourishes in a world apart, distant from routine life, fictitious, with continuous aesthetic and poetic messages, where the spectator has to cross from one scene to another, lead by their own choices. Playing becomes a pleasant uncertainty that motivates the spectator to initiate the action and transform themselves to a principal and unique character of their emotional walk. The pieces – Azar (Fate), Corazón (Heart), Mente (Mind), Quietud (Peacefulness), Introspección (Introspection)…- invite the player to move to diverse dynamic and emotional scenes common to every human being, represented through very eclectic forms and languages. The players watch and reflect about their surroundings and finally, structure their own experiences choosing random ways. Fieras de Versalles (Beasts of Versalles) have found the balance between individual and collective, abandoning the “ego of the artist” to work together, experimenting and investigating with courage to achieve a multidisciplinary, esthetic and poetic language. Their work has been created in a hybrid way, both in its conception and in its production. From the idea to the mutation, from the material and technical eclecticism –painting, sculpture, photography, installation, illustration, text, video, talking art– to form a puzzle of interrelated pieces where, apparently by chance, lies an internal order that the spectator must discover. It is a show full of strength and intimacy with experiences closes to conceptual art, ready-made, talking art, povera art, that stimulate and make abstract, prudent and representative thought more powerful. FIERAS DE VERSALLES (BEASTS OF VERSALLES) Fieras de Versalles is an animal with three heads. Creative pact between the three artists. It is a work with three mothers.
