PLEADING THE BLOOD: What does it mean to plead the blood.? Many believers consider the blood as something that was shed 2,000 years ago and do not see how can it be applied to their lives in the present day. They do so in ignorance. Pleading the blood is powerful and valid for today. The blood is not just for the past, but for the present as well. To plead the blood is to apply its protective power in current situations. It is to experience the power of God today. To plead means: 1. To argue a case in support of somebody or something, especially in a court of law. 2. To make an allegation in an action or other legal proceeding; especially to answer the previous pleading of the other party by denying facts therein ststed by alleging new facts. 3. To argue for or against a claim. 4. To maintain(as a case or cause) in a court of law or other tribthe south of England. We had been travelling some miles on the expressway at about 70 miles per hour, when all of a sudden, I had this strong impression , and I said,Hey, we did not pray as we left home. Lets pray now! I simply said,Lord, thank you for this trip. We plead the blood of Jesus over us and this car . Amen. I barely said ,Amen when a semi-truck crossed over onto our lane and abruptly stopped in front of us. It was like slow motion, as my friend braked and the car tires squealed as the women screamed in the back. All I could say was, The blood of Jesus as I watched our car approach the back of the truck . And just when we were about to go under the truck, somehow the car just slowed and stopped. If we had hit the back or gone under the truck, we would have been decapitated. It was the protective power of the blood of Jesus that saved us from a fatal accident. I teach my children to plead the blood over their lives every morning. The world is full of crazy people. You have heard reports of school shootings and other horrible acts of violence. Do not take any chances with the lives of your children ; take the time and draw a bloodline over them. You have nothing to lose but everything to gain. Teach them in the morning prayer time to say,Lord, I plead the blood of Jesus over my life. I am protected by the blood. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Teach them to say, devil, you cannot touch me. I am covered by the blood of Jesus, my Lord. Amen!
