PLEASE HELP CART: I am writing this in response to requests asking CART for an easier option to donate money (i.e: via SMS). I have been told before that in order to activate SMS donations you need to be a registered non-profit rescue organisation and even then part of the amount donated goes to the government, so they deduct taxes & other expenses from every single donation....the service itself costs loads of money too, so it is not possible in CARTs case....this is why we ask you to donate using Vodafone, Etisalat or Mobinil Cash or pay via Paypal if you are abroad.....Cart members can arrange how to pick money from your doorstep or neighborhood too or you can deposit money in any of the clinics used to board & treat rescues.......It is becoming very hard to manage now, especially that CART gets no government financial support & almost ZERO donations. This team of four will reach a point where they wont be able to respond to anyone asking for help because they cant afford supporting any other cases!!!!!!! Please lets be flexible & cooperate...this is the only way CART can continue doing what they do!!!!!!!!! Thank You.
