PLEASE HELP! (Its New Year Today and WE ALL CAN REALLY HELP!) He is my dear friends friend Deepak. He was admitted into the hospital in UK to undergo a bypass surgery for removal of a tumor from his heart. After the operation, he had a heart stroke that left him paralyzed on the left side of his body(arm, leg and mouth). Cancerous growth in his lungs was diagnosed a week after the bypass surgery. As his body was weak, Cancer spread very quickly in his lungs and now is in stage 4. His body is too weak to undergo any corrective treatment. There are 3 options currently being explored to get Deepak back to India and all of them are expensive and need our support. The cost of the option vary from £15,000(INR 15 Lakhs) to £55,000 (INR 55 lakhs) (with the safest option to fly him in an Air Ambulance at £55,000). People are trying to get in touch with Cancer Research UK and Indian Embassy to seek help. If you have contacts who can help, i will be glad to hear from you. The current target is to raise £30,000(INR 30 Lakhs) to cover for his travel back to India and any initial treatment that can be carried out elsewhere.
