** PLEASE READ - WILD, WET & COLD WEATHER AHEAD - INLAND NSW ** Cut that firewood, get the washing done ( if even possible) & prepare to rug yourselves up! If you think the weather is already miserable enough, think again. A mid-winter Cold front is set to sweep right over us on Thursday/ Friday, bringing a burst of likely severe weather ( Heavy Rain & Damaging Winds) followed by a influx of cold southerly winds dropping temperatures by more than 10°c ( maximums ) in some areas. Inland areas may reach a pleasant and you could even say a "warm" 20°c on Wednesday, but DONT BE FOOLED. The warm temps are only caused by the approaching strong cold front/Low pressure System drawing down notherly winds. During Late Thursday & into Friday Widespread Rain ( heavy at times) and storms will impact most of Southern NSW ( coastal areas will miss out on most the heavier stuff). By the weekend, many areas will experience maximum temps in the single digits. SATURDAY MAXIMUM TEMPS: Wagga : 8°c Canberra : 7°c Yass : 6°c Thredbo : -6°c BLIZZARD conditions are looking likely above 1000m over the weekend. Do not head into the mountains unless properly prepared! So stay safe everyone & most of all warm and dry! This looks like it could be the coldest event this winter. Dylan
