PLEASE READ AND SHARE! Worst Christmas gift experience ever!!! Thank you FUTURE SHOP!!!!!! My wonderful wife got me command start for Christmas from Future Shop in November and she was told that it could not be installed until today. So 6 weeks later I show up to Future Shop at 920 am as she was told that the car needed to be there for 10 am. Needless to say I was the first one to arrive. I was told it would be installed by 5 pm. At 4 pm I went to Future Shop and my car had not been moved. As we went to the back to talk to the installer he drove my car into the shop. I talked to the installer and he told me that he had 7 installs that day and would have it done after 6 pm. As I am getting a ride home I receive a phone call from Future Shop saying the side wall of my tire is blown out. I am not sure how this has happened but I do know that it was fine when I dropped it off. I asked for the manager to come to the install bay to sort this out. I was going over the facts with the manager about it being in their custody and being fine when I got there and fine when the guy drove the car into the bay. I did not blame any one, I was just going over the facts. At this point the installer started yelling from the back in a very defensive manner and refused to install my command start. I refused to sign off on taking my car back until this is resolved. So now I have no car, no command start and a tire with a blown side wall. I was offered two options. Pay for it myself or fill out an insurance claim form. I am not sure why I would have to fill out an insurance form? I do not work for the company and they were responsible for my car. The best I could gather from my time line is this went flat in the shop as I seen the installer drive my car into the bay. I would assume that it would be policy to inspect any vehicle before driving it? I know I would.
