PLEASE READ :) An update for all my friends that voted in the recent Bridleworks competition and like the Bridleworks page. I have tried, and failed, to get a reasonable explanation from Bridleworks as to why Mias entry did not make it to the final 20 (despite it appearing in 9th place after the competition closed and before the winners were announced), and also why some entries have exactly 100 more votes than shown on the screenshot I took at that time. I have requested a copy of the rules as Bridleworks since told me that it wasnt just based on Facebook votes, but also on likes and shares on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I have requested a final total of Mias entry that includes other activity to Facebook likes (in the knowledge that we shared on Facebook and Twitter). I have also asked why one entry Ghosty had 251 votes but did not appear in the final 20, despite the entry with the lowest number of votes having 240. I have read WooBoxs Q&As (which Bridleworks directed me to) and the way they explain competitions and voting systems contradicts what Bridleworks have told me. I have tried to get a clear and logical response to these questions via private message with Bridleworks - however my last two messages have been ignored and further questioning (by PM) to Bridleworks today has resulted in me being blocked and unable to communicate with them. I have tried very hard to resolve this in private and failure to do so appears (to me at least) as an indication of their guilt. As they are unwilling or unable to explain the rules, voting and subsequent selection of finalists, I can only conclude that it has not been done fairly or as advertised. I apologise to everyone who has provided their Facebook data to Bridleworks by liking the page and voting for Mias entry. We gave huge promotion to the brand during the voting process and we did so in good faith. This post is not sour grapes - in fact the prize on offer is really not worthy of a fraction of the amount of time I have put into the matter - we never expected Mias entry to win the competition but what we did expect was that the competition would be judged fairly and in the way that was stated on Bridleworks page.
