*PLEASE READ* As-salam alaykum I have been in the Sufi business for about two years or so. I started of as a page, then I stopped, and started again on this very account. And throught the two years or so, I have been posting and sharing many authentic anecdotes, discourses and utterance of outstanding Sufis - I have people from the UK, Indian sub-continent, Africa, Asian following me in an attempt to learn or get illuminated with the divine and noble path of Tasawwuf or Sufism as it is better known as. And I ponder upon this many times; why do I post Sufi sayings. I have also wanted to leave and never come back. There is many false interpretation of Sufism and what I find or observe in this account is that; everyone wants to seek guardianship over Sufism: Your tariqah is flawed because My Pir does not do that or this and stupid arguments like this, to no avail and only emanuating stupidity. People have forgotten the basis of Tariqah or Sufism and what it actually entails. During the time of our Noble Master Hazrat Syeddena Muhammad Mustafa (May endless divine salutations be upon his noble self) Sufism was manifested in everyone, it was too common for a name. Why am I posting. I was in a conversation, yesterday, with a noble friend of mine, a Sayyid - Alhumdulillah. And it got me thinking: what is the point posting ? what is the point following Sufi pages ? What is the point of acting as a guide in an attempt to kindle individuals towards Tassawuf - regradless of my posting your knowledge if Tasawwuf will not increase. Sufism entails the following; 1. Practice what is prescribed by your spritiual Guide. 2. Service or Khidmat to your Spritiual Guide. 3. Sohbat Do not be a shining start for others, whilst you are yourself, in darkness Shaykh Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani Yesterday, I was clever I wanted to change the work, today, I am wise I want to change myself.
