PLEASE READ & SHARE/FOREVER LOVED SESSION: GORGEOUS IS MERELY AN UNDERSTATEMENT!! She has battled leukemia not once, not twice... but THREE times and now and needs our prayers more than ever! Please read... Raeleen says, I was first diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in January 2007, at the age of 16. Despite the 2 1/2 year chemotherapy treatment plan, I graduated on time and continued on to college! I have always wanted to be a nurse and I let my experience fuel my motivation to get through school. The day I was to begin my 3rd year of college, September 2010, I found out my Leukemia returned. I started a two year course of chemotherapy treatments and took some time off of school. As I was finishing up treatment in 2012, I was able to return to school to continue completing my pre-requisites for nursing. This past spring, I was officially accepted into California Baptist Universitys School of Nursing! In June 2014, the leukemia has returned for the 3rd time. At 24 years old, I will need to undergo a bone marrow transplant. Raeleen has just finished her chemotherapy round at the Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, but will be transferred to City of Hope for her transplant. Raeleen continues by saying, I wont be discouraged. I know if I can do this twice, I can do it again... And again if I need to! I have plans, dreams, and goals for my life, and Im going to fight as hard as I can to keep cancer from taking them away. CBU School of Nursing is holding my spot, and I look forward to the day that I can return to school, and one day take care of patients like myself! Today she will be admitted to City of Hope in Duarte, CA. Her transplant is on the 24th of this month and she is having a Hickman Catheter placed in her chest tomorrow to make infusions easier. After going through donor banks, Raeleen has not able to find a match, until just recently! Her donor is now her 28 year old BROTHER!! He told me during our session that he absolutely hates needles and hospitals, but he would do anything for his baby sister. He will be put to sleep during this process and they will be taking a liter and a half out of his bone marrow. Raeleen will know in about a month if her body is accepting the new marrow and will be in isolation. Together we need to pray for this young woman. Shes beaten the odds TWICE now and I am confident she can do it again!! If you wish to send her some pick me ups while she is in the hospital, please private message me for the studio address. I know she would be so grateful to hear from you. Without further adieu, I would like you to meet Raeleen and her sweet Brother Derek! He is my rock, my shoulder to cry on, my biggest fan, my best friend, and my hero. He is my brother.
