PLEASE READ this update for Maddie! The doctors had prepared David and Vanessa for what they truly believed was going to be a very difficult journey. The doctors, after two MRI’s and consults with Neurosurgeons all over the area, told the family that based upon the location and test results this tumor was malignant and Maddie would be going straight to chemo/radiation and that if she ever walked again there would need to be a lot of rehabilitation. From the moment the doctors opened up her skull today things have not appeared as they expected. The tumor is not malignant. It is really has all the doctors stumped as to exactly what it is. It basically fell out without many complications. When Aaron left the hospital a little while ago… Maddie, only 2 hours after all-day brain surgery, was sitting up eating soup and talk just as normal as she was before any of this before hand. She has passed all of her motor tests completely. God is writing her testimony… He is truly amazing… Continue to pray that she will go home soon…
