PLEASE SHARE - a badger has been found snared and beaten to death on a footpath in the Inshes area of Inverness and the Scottish SPCA is investigating this crime. The animal was found on a busy footpath near a garden centre on 30 September and weve been conducting enquiries ever since but we now need the publics help to trace the culprit. A post mortem has revealed the badger was snared with baler twine which was deeply embedded in its throat causing tremendous suffering and injury. It was then killed with a blow to the head with a blunt instrument. If you know anything please call 03000 999 999.
