PLEASE SHARE AND RESPOND: QUEENS FAMILY IN NEED OF HOME My name is Ali Colak, I am a college student, residing in Astoria Queens with my parents on whom I am financially dependent. Recently, a government inspector visited the basement in which we live, and told us that residence in that basement is not in line with government regulations. For this reason, we are being force to leave our home and must search for a new apartment. We are looking for an apartment for rent in the price range of $800.00-1400.00, preferably in Queens, Brookline or Long island, though anywhere will do really as we are growing desperate. Our landlord has asked us to leave as the inspectors will be returning on Thursday, and he could receive a fine of up to $12000 if they see that regulations havent been met. We have been asking all around in case anyone knows of any available apartment in the above price range. If you could spread the news among the community, so that anyone who knows of any available home could contact me at alish54@gmail I would be very grateful?
