Meet Shadow, a 9 year old male black Pit Bull Terrier and Labrador Retriever mix who was an OWNER SURRENDER on August 9th due to landlord issues. His previous owner said Shadow is GREAT WITH KIDS and Great with other Dogs! We are not the least bit surprised because he is OUTSTANDING in every way. This VIBRANT, healthy boy does not seem 9 years old at all! We all know its whats on the inside that counts and Shadow has it in spades. He is a HAPPY, FRIENDLY, non-stop tail wagger with a CHARMING, good-natured personality. He truly is a bundle of joy and you cant help but smile when he is around. Weighing 49 pounds, Shadow is the perfect medium size and would make an excellent candidate for apartment or condo living. If you have a nice big yard for romping and exploring, Shadow would love that too. Being the SMART and CURIOUS dog that he is, Shadow would benefit from exercise and daily walks. He is very well-behaved, walks great on a leash and takes treats gently. This AFFECTIONATE boy loves receiving pets and hanging out with good people by his side. In his previous home, he was kept as an outdoor dog so we would love for Shadow to know what it is like to be kept indoors and loved like a family member. Shadow would make a wonderful family pet or a fine companion for another well-mannered dog. He is such a fantastic fella and would make anyone a proud pet owner.
