PLEASE SHARE WIDELY: For those of you not following the situation: Ukraine has entered the most brutal day of repressive violence in recent history. The people have been rising up to demand European democratic values and to dipose a President who has siphoned billions into his personal coffers whilst sailing the nation up shit creek. Many accuse Russia of facilitiating the repression whilst Russian Prime Minister Дмитрий Медведев calls for stronger government -so that people dont wipe their feet on the authorities like a doormat (the people he refers to stand armored in hockey gear and saucepans against armor piercing rounds from AK-47s) meanwhile in Sochi the games go on undisturbed. Shootings are happening just meters from where Ive shopped and socialised hundreds of times and where Tom Draper, Ben Draper and I stood and watched Euro2012 matches on the big screen. Please keep yourself informed of developments in solidarity with our brave European cousins who want nothing more than to be free of a corrupt and illegitimate elite. Ax.
