Scammers target bank customers Mar 7, 2014 The Croswell Police Department is reporting a scam making the rounds in the Blue Water Area. Customers of Talmer Bank, Eastern Michigan Back, Advia and possibly other banks receive an automated phone call informing them their debit card is inactive. The call asks the target to follow the prompts and enter his or her debit card number to re-activate it. The police warn not to do that. Instead, hang up and report the call to your bank.
