PLEASE TELL YOUR STORY. In the week after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, I asked all of the friends with whom I was then in email contact to share with me their Where were you when you heard? How did you hear? What happened next? stories. I saved them. I want to share them with my children and grandhildren, should I ever have grandchildren. Today, with facebook, I have access to many more stories than I did then. So, please help me out with that project by sharing your memories (If you didnt in 2001). Ill prime the pump by going first. In the months after Karla died, I was a depressed & lazy parent. I didnt get Anthony up and ready for school very often. I had him let me know when he was up. Then, Id tell him what to do. Go take a bath, then come back. Okay, now go eat, then come back. It would go on like that until he was ready, when Id get up and take him to kindergaten. I take no pride in this. So, I was in bed when Anthony came to the door and said Don Parnall is on the phone. He said something weird is happening. Turn on the T. V. I said What channel? Anthony went to the phone and asked. He came back and said Any of them. I came into the family room & turned the T. V. on. Before there was even a picture, I heard the words The second tower of the World Trade Center has now fallen.
