PLEASE VOTE Mireya Cruz for EANGUS Treasurer Dear Enlisted Members and Leaders of our State Associations, I am SSG Mireya Cruz, and I am running for EANGUS Treasurer. I have a Bachelors Degree in Finance, I have been a member of the Committee on Finance for 4 years, I own my own home based business, and I am asking for your support. If elected, I will dedicate all of my effort and financial ability to the position of Treasurer and ensure that the Executive Council knows not only the balance of our funds, but the income and expense trends on where we are headed as an organization. I will also present financial policy suggestions to the Executive Council that will place EANGUS is on a sound financial path. While the entire EANGUS Board has accountability for the finances of EANGUS, the Treasurers primary focus is proper financial management of all funds and a reporting process that keeps the Executive Council members involved and engaged, and I will approach the Treasurer position in this manner. Without this approach, the Executive Council and the Membership will struggle with their duties to make informed financial decisions. My time on the Executive Council has been educational and I would like to bring what I have learned in that capacity to the Treasure position.
