PLEASE WATCH... 6 years ago a single father and daughter walked in the doors of I Train Your Kids. He had health issues and was scared to death that if he didnt improve his health, he would not be able to care for his little girl...his world. 5 days a week, they worked out with me and learned to live a healthy lifestyle. In that time I witnessed the, former Navy tough guy struggle to raise a little girl, yet make sure every decision was the absolute best he could provide for her, without judgement. I also had the honor and privilege of watching a chatty little girl transform into a strong, insanely smart, and beautiful young woman. They came in my life seeking support, direction and guidance in a time where I needed it just as much. Over the years, they have truly become my family. We still have dinner on Sundays and are closer than most families I know. Rachel Mallett may not have my DNA...but I feel like shes my daughter. I cried like a baby at the Ritz on Thursday watching her speech and also at the speech of her father. PROUD of Rachel AND Bill Mallett for overcoming the battles life had thrown in their path and ending up on top...hand in hand. You two are MY role models and I love you!
