🚨🚨PLZ SHARE/RT🚨🚨 Call @tomcoburn - 202-224-5754 - and tell him to STOP blocking #ClayHuntSAVAct - tell him that it is not acceptable to play ideological games with the lives of #veterans - tell them if he doesnt think LOWERING the average of 22 vets a day taking their lives is worthy of a a full frontal assault from the Government by WHATEVER MEANS NECESSARY that maybe he shouldnt have voted for two wars. It is the height of hypocrisy to vote to fight two wars with money we didnt have and then refuse to vote on legislation that would make a credible attempt to address the vet suicide problem on the basis its not offset completely. This legislation simply handles a cost that was incurred the moment we went to war in 2001/2002. The Bill passed the House unanimously. If Sen. Coburn stops playing games with the lives of veterans, the Bill will come to a vote in the Senate today, and will pass overwhelmingly. If it does not pass today, its likely 60-90 days if not more before it could be reconstituted in the new Congress - do the math. 60-90 days ++ at an average cost of 22 veterans dead a day. We can afford #clayhunt - we cannot afford Tom Coburns twisted logic. No economic principle justifies the loss of 1000+ veterans. Please call Tom Coburn and tell him hes wrong - tell him you expect him to clear out of the way and let the Senate pass this bill.
