PM Henry Puna talks about Corruption This morning was the launch of a Regional Workshop by the Global Organisation of Parliamentarians Against Corruption......the theme of my address focused on Three Rs: the need to Recognise corruption for what is; our Responsibility to take action against it; and the Resolve that we parliamentarians need to work collectively and cooperatively to instill better practices. As a signatory to the UN Convention Against Corruption, the Cook Islands is supportive of strengthening GOPAC Oceania and the alliance of National Chapters, which provide help to parliamentarians to fight corruption.
