When we forgive someone we are not saying what he or she did was right or acceptable. Forgiveness releases us of anger and judgment, both of which do not align with a spiritual life. How can we say we are truly spiritual without forgiving, being compassionate and supporting other people? In observing our world it seems many of us pretend to be spiritual until the going gets hard. But isnt it when the going gets hard we really must be that which we say we are?
