Hi everyone! My grandparents are going to the East Moline Correctional Center for an uplifting spiritual time with a large group of inmates. They have done this every year for as long as I can remember. I would greatly appreciate it if you guys would pray for everyone involved in this uplifting spiritual time during the weekend of October 17, 18, and 19th. Please comment on this status with your first and last name which will be placed on a scroll that will be rolled out in front of the inmates to show them that you are praying for them. Here is what my grandparents sent me to share with you that tells a little more about this weekend. During October 17, 18, 19th you are invited to participate in an uplifting spiritual time of ministry to a large group of inmates at the East Moline Correctional Center. The effectiveness of the ministry depends as much on prayer from believers outside the facility as from the involvement of those physically in the meetings. You could be a part of this ministry by committing yourself to prayer during this three day journey inside the prison walls. You are asked to pray for the prisoners, the prison staff and the ministry team. Your name will be included in a prayer scroll that will be presented to the men to show them of the Christian community support. It is our hope that the men will open their hearts to the GOOD NEWS of the Lord’s love and forgiveness.
