PM Netanyahu will speak at the UN on Tuesday, Oct 1st “I’m going to New York in order to speak the truth,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said before boarding his flight, hinting at his speech to be delivered in the United States. “I’m going to New York and to Washington to meet with President Obama and to give a speech before the UN General Assembly,” the Prime Minister said. “As an Israeli citizen, I will present our interests and our rights as a people and we will firmly defend ourselves.” Netanyahu said this in response to the convergence between Washington and Tehran in recent days, in the background of discussions about the Iranian nuclear program and the historic conversion between Obama and Rouhani. “I’m ready to state the truth in the face of the Iranian smile attack,” Netanyahu clarified. “I need to state the facts.
