The drive for more and more members has done what happens to every group - too many people full of XXXX, driving out those who are there for the original purpose. With no filter on whos wasting everyones time, I dont have the time to wade through it anymore, and Im tired of being argued with by people who just dont know better or cant help themselves. So Im done. Sorry, it was a good idea to start with, but the monkeys are running the zoo now and Ive no appetite for it anymore. I was wrong yesterday when I messaged you. Its not just some people, its also your negativity and dogmatic attitude thats driving people out of your group. I gave it a good long honest read today, hoping maybe Id just had a bad afternoon yesterday and took something by mistake. I dont know what happened, but lately your whole tone has gone from open and welcome, to judgemental and harsh. And thats not cool. I get it, its your group, and Im out of it by choice and without public drama like XXXX was pilloried for. But you might as well change the name to ferro rods and feathersticks because it sure isnt about bushcraft or brotherhood, and you seem to be going out of your way to make otherwise friendly and helpful people either leave, or jump into your cult of personality. The only reason Im bothering to tell you is this was, for a while, a good thing. It got me thinking about a few things, and trying to contribute in ways I hadnt thought of before, and for that, I thank you. I hope youre happy with what youre building.
