PMO TRAINS 100 DESK OFFICERS The Lagos State Parastatals Monitoring Office (PMO), inconjuction with Open Arms Ltd, has organized a three-day training workshop for 100 desk officers in Parastatals, Agencies and General Hospitals in the State. The Workshop, held at the Combo hall of Lagos Television Complex, Agidinigbi, Ikeja between Tuesday 22nd April and Thursday 24th April 2014, is part of the new initiative of the Parastatals Monitoring Office to expose Liaison/Desk Officers designate to requisite tools needed to facilitate smooth and seamless flow of information between their agencies and the Parastatals Monitoring Office. In his remark at the occasion, Mr. Olumiya Ogunlaja, Director, Finance and Administration, who represented Hon. Gboyegba Salvador-Adebayo, Special Adviser to the Governor and Mr.Lekan Ogunbanwo, Permanent Secretary (PMO), advised the officers to make adequate use of the opportunities offered by the workshop to acquire the necessary knowledge to improve and excel in their duties. Expressing the profound gratitude of the PMO to Open Arms Limited for collaboration in planning the training, he implored the participants to ensure that the knowledge they acquire from the workshop in adequately utilized in order to make them excellent Desk Officers in their various parastatals and agencies.
